General information
This web site provides information about the research and events on
sandstone landscapes, especially in Europe. It has been established as
a result of the discussion at the 1st conference on Sandstone
Landscapes in Doubice, Czech Republic, 2002.
At this time, the web is focused mainly on the Sandstone Community (database
of people involved in research and conservation of sandstones) and on
the links to institutions, conferences and the European
regions of sandstone landscapes.
However, we would very much appreciate if you will help us to extend the
scope of the web site in the future. Your proposals for improvements
as well as your amendments are very much welcome.
